Thomas & Aimee’s wedding was the PERFECT wedding to end off 2014 – it was a photographer’s dream day to capture and I adore this couple to bits. They were obviously made for each other – they complement each other in every way possible and were such amazing people to work with. The month of their wedding we also covered their engagement session, have a look at it here: Aimee & Thomas Bicycle Themed Engagement Photoshoot. They said their vows on the 14th of December 2014 in the most beautiful town, Tzaneen, in Limpopo. Their decor was filled with personal touches – because they live in Rotterdam in the Netherlands together and this means lots of travelling by bicycles, they also brought in a subtle bicycle theme on their wedding day. They kept their guests to the minimum, which ensured an intimate and festive feel and Kings Walden Garden Manor was the perfect venue to host their celebration. There are so many things that I love about their wedding (the gin bar for example is such a great idea!), so instead of listing them, I’ll just trust the photos to tell the story 🙂

What was your favourite part of your wedding day?

BABY ROSS |johannesburg newborn sessionJanuary 23, 2015

Last year I had an amazing family session with the beautiful du Plessis family when little Ross was still just a tiny bump in his mommy’s belly (click here to see their family session). Now little Ross has officially been welcomed into his family and he’s the perfect addition to this lovely household <3 This is my first newborn session, so I’m very excited to share it. Little Ross and his sister are natural models and it was great fun being able to do this session in the comfort of their own home. I love that Lianè (Ross’ sister) already has a natural curiosity for the camera, she kept wanting to grab it. I think it might soon be time for her first camera 😉

Tarien and Quinton are such proud parents and it shows in every photo. They truly have been blessed with the most precious happy family and it’s amazing to see the lifelong sibling bond that has already started between this tiny little brother and sister. <3

Sammy & Shaun said their vows on the 29th of November 2014 at the always majestic, Kiepersol Wedding Village, in Parys, Free State. Their day was a true reflection of their relationship as a couple: filled with elegant, graceful touches whilst still having a very comfortable ambience. Even the loadshedding during the reception went almost unnoticed – these two and their guests would not let anything stop them from celebrating their most precious day. It was an amazing fairytale day and I’m thrilled we could be a part of it!

Theonette & Gordon said their “I do’s” on the 8th of November 2014 at Lombardy Boutique Hotel in Pretoria during an intimate wedding ceremony. They booked us to only cover the ceremony and post-ceremony portraits – it was a pleasure to be a part of this incredible couple’s special day. I absolutely adore Theonette’s wedding dress and I love that it’s a sentimental creation: it’s a transformation of her mother’s wedding gown. The weather also worked along so well on the day – a few good luck raindrops fell right after the ceremony but stopped just in time for us to capture the portraits outside!

Catherine & Nicholas tied the knot (literally!) on the 11th of October 2014 at my favourite farmstyle wedding venue, Rosemary Hill, in Pretoria. Their wedding day was filled with beautiful handmade touches which complemented their farmstyle chic decor – and both Catherine and Nicholas looked amazing! We had the opportunity to take photos at such a wide variety of locations on the farm – from the greenhouse, with the cows, ruins, foresty areas and the farm fields.
