On the 16th of December 2012, Zunaid & Aadilah became husband and wife during a beautiful wedding ceremony at Bosmont Masjid in Johannesburg. This was the first Islamic wedding ceremony I had ever attended and I felt so honored to be their photographer – I was beyond excited! “We kept everything very simple and uncomplicated,” Emlyn says, “which lead to a beautiful, stress-free day.”

Tim proposed to Anneri during a suprise romantic weekend getaway at the picturesque Wyford Farm in Van Reenen. Anneri describes his proposal as a very special and personal proposal at a cosy fireplace in a candle-lit room.

I asked Anneri about their inspiration for their wedding day:

I am so excited about Ronnie & Trevor’s wedding in March 2013! They booked me way in advance and naturally due to all the e-mails and conversations my anticipation for their wedding day has grown tremendously. These two really are a perfect match! They’ve even been tested by a difficult fight with cancer but their relationship has proven to be untouchable. I had so much fun on their engagement session. They just make such a lovely couple – the photo opportunities just come naturally!

Here’s Ronnie’s version of their love story:
