Anja & Eon are a match made in heaven! I loved working with these two amazing people – they’re the ultimate proof that beauty is more than skin deep. These high school sweethearts tied the knot on the 28th of March 2015 at Three Rivers Lodge in Vereeniging. Anja & Eon looked amazing; I love that Anja found her gorgeous dress only five days before the wedding – it’s a true reflection of who they are as a couple: laidback, fun and spontaneous. There were so many precious DIY details at their wedding; their hard work and planning paid off and their wedding day was a blast & a true celebration of them as a couple.

Nicole and Michael are two of the nicest people I’ve met. Their wedding was on the 2nd of May 2014 at the magnificent Shepstone Gardens in Johannesburg. Their day was perfectly planned and it was fantastic to be a part of. Mr & Mrs Young both looked magnificent and I had so much fun working with this sweet, down-to-earth pair. Some of my favourite parts of their wedding day was all the handmade touches to the decor and wooden signage in the venue’s gardens; the black bridesmaids’ dresses; the bride’s purple Converse shoes; and the splendid ceremony area.

MR & MRS EHLERS |barnyard mpumalanga highveld weddingMarch 24, 2014

The Mpumalanga Highveld is one of my favourite parts of the country – its picturesque scenery is ideal for a wedding! Liezel & Ruan said their “I do’s” at the charming Barnyard Lodge in Ermelo on the 1st of February 2014. This wedding truly was a photographer’s dream wedding – besides for the beautiful location, we were spoilt with so much decor details and the natural light due to the cloudiness on the day was amazing. Liezel & Ruan gave us an opportunity to take some couple photos before and after the ceremony (something I strongly recommend all couples consider as it allows for some sort of back up option in case it should rain later on the day) and we managed to use all of this time for couple photos – the rain started falling just as the reception started.

Mr & Mrs Ehlers were a stunning couple to work with – they were calm, relaxed and so natural in front of the cameras – they have a visible chemistry together and they truly are beautiful inside and out.

Hanlie & Bennie met whilst doing their articles together – romance bloomed and on the 12th of October 2013 they said their vows at Kiepersol Wedding Village in Parys, Free State. It was a perfect day at the perfect setting – I’ve had the privilege to cover a few weddings at Kiepersol before and I’m always suprised at how much effort the venue coordinators put into the decor – each wedding is so unique and picturesque.

Hanlie & Bennie were an amazing couple to work with – they are so comfortable together & they made their wedding a fun one in every way possible. I especially enjoyed the lively opening of the dancefloor! 🙂
