I’m so excited to share another happy-ever-after story of one of my past wedding couples! Chantel & Jon’s engagement session & wedding are some of my favourite photography moments and last weekend I shared another amazing moment in their lives with them: their maternity photoshoot. This lovely couple is expecting their baby boy’s arrival early next year.

We did their photoshoot at Delta Park in Victory Park, Johannesburg. Here are some of my favourites from their maternity photoshoot.

On Saturday, 24 September 2016, I spent my morning capturing Daisy & Kefentse’s maternity photos! It was a lovely day in Johannesburg for a photo shoot and we went for a natural park-picnic feel in Delta Park, Johannesburg.

Their precious little boy, Orefile, has been born since then and he is just too cute & adorable!!

Sazi & Daisy celebrated their union as husband & wife at the idyllic Thornbirds Centre in Johannesburg with a splendor of purple & lavender. I’ve been eager for their wedding ever since we captured their engagement photoshoot last year (click here to view their engagement photoshoot at Walter Sisulu Botanical Gardens). One of my favourite memories of their day was how much everyone enjoyed themselves, almost all the guests were on the dancefloor by the end of the evening! It was a happy & beautiful celebration of two people that are perfect for each other.

What was your favourite part of your wedding day?

Charlene & Willem invited us to spend a day in Piet Retief, Mpumalanga, to get to know their beautiful little town (as I’ve professed many times before, Mpumalanga is, to me anyway, the most picturesque part of our country), them as a couple and cover their engagement session. Piet Retief offered everything you would want for a photoshoot: railways, foresty plantations and farm scenery – many of which will also be the locations and venues on their wedding day. I cannot wait to see how amazing their wedding will be 🙂 This is by far one of my favourite engagement sessions – and I absolutely adore these two – I’ll be counting down the days eagerly until their wedding day!

Charlene & Willem’s love story started in 2003 – Charlene’s friend had told her that his friend from Frankfort, Free State had come to visit and at first sight, at a local festival that weekend, seeing Willem from a distance as he approaced them, Charlene told her friend to introduce them to each other because she knew it would be her “trouman”! So it seems, love at first sight truly does exist!
