Melissa & Stefan said their vows on the 12th of April 2014 and Klip River Country Estate, in Meyerton, provided the perfect backdrop with its enchanted gardens. After a fun time getting to know these two during their engagement photoshoot (here’s a link to Melissa & Stefan’s Helderfontein Picnic Engagement Session), I couldn’t wait until their wedding day: I expected the elegant handmade touches, beautiful flowers and wonderful ambience that made this couple’s wedding a pleasure to be a part of! 🙂

I cannot even begin to describe how much fun I had at Claudi & Luan’s wedding! I couldn’t help but giggle as I edited their photographs – Mr & Mrs ten Cate really enjoyed poking a bit of fun at typical wedding poses! Claudi & Luan said their vows on the 25th of October 2012 at Olive Mystery in Bapsfontein. I adored all the decor and details at their wedding! They put an incredible amount of thought into everything and the blue and red colours just work so well together. Here’s Claudi’s version of how they met:

On the 6th of October 2012, as I arrived at River Place Country Estate in Centurion, I was welcomed by bright colours and wild flowers and I just knew this was going to be a fantastic wedding to be a part of!
Meagan and Brink put so much thought into every detail of their wedding – from the wedding cake decorated by Meagan’s father, hand-weaved flower petal baskets and even homemade beer at the reception! There were bottles filled with orange, purple and yellow flowers on the steps leading toward their chosen reception venue, Al Fiume Restaurant at River Place Country Estate, and the restaurant was decorated with bright coloured prayer flags with beautiful flowers and candles used as centre pieces.

Meagan and Brink looked amazing in their wedding attire and I love the boutonnieres made with colourful ribbons that were handed out to all the guests. I’m not even going to go into detail regarding Meagan’s hair, make-up and dress, but let’s just say the make-up artists, dressmaker and hair stylist did a fantastic job! Hands down, my favourite part of this wedding was the African Marigold flowers in the bride’s hair – it just looks so lovely in all the photographs!

Brink and Meagan met through a mutual friend. In his own words: Read more…
