There’s nothing I love more than a unique wedding with a hearty personal touch – and this is exactly what Miranda & Werner’s wedding day was all about! They said their “I do’s” on the 5th of April 2014 at the Anro Floral Farm – and from what I understand there’s only been one other wedding held here. This uncharted gem of a venue is beautifully picturesque and Miranda and Werner’s family and friends helped to make this wedding day special, fun and filled with a cheerful ambience!

There are so many aspects of this wedding day that I adored to bits: the loafs as wedding favours; the couple’s stunning attire (that wedding gown left me in awe!); Miranda’s prep location being at her family plot in Muldersdrift (this was also the lovely location for their engagement photoshoot, here’s a link to that gorgeous session: Miranda & Werner’s Farmstyle Muldersdrift Engagement Session); Miranda’s inability to look seriously at the camera – she burst out in giggles each time and it made for the loveliest natural photos; the fact that their future home together as husband and wife is located on the wedding venue, so we were able to get photos of the newlyweds at their new home; and of course their chemistry together.

What was your favourite part of your wedding day?

Zeli & Fred have officially set the date for their wedding next year and for their engagement photoshoot we spent some time at the botanical gardens. These two are incredible together – fun, down-to-earth and a match made to last 🙂
A big thank you goes out to Merci Flowers and Gifts that provided us with the lovely flower crown & my very helpful assistant for the day, Chanique Fourie.

Here’s a little something that Zeli & Fred sent me for this blogpost:

Marice & John are cute as a button together! They’ve know each other since primary school and the chemistry between them is quite evident in all the moments shared on their wedding day.

They said their vows on the 14th of September 2013 at Kiepersol Wedding Village in Parys, Free State. It was a day filled with heartfelt moments and many spontaneous giggles 😉

How did you meet / How did the proposal happen?

Chantel & Johny finally tied the knot on the 28th of April 2013 at the luxurious Avianto Estate in Muldersdrift. I just love these two – they look SO great together (it’s like they were made to be in front of the camera) and they are genuinely nice, kind-hearted people. Their The Notebook inspired engagement session in Cullinan, Gauteng last year was probably my favourite engagement session of all time and I knew their wedding day would be special in more ways than I could ever imagine. Elegant Avianto Muldersdrift Wedding Johannesburg Izelle Labuschagne Photography These PRIMARY school sweethearts planned an unforgettable wedding day, filled with beautiful creative DIY elements, stunning elegance and the most lovely heartfelt moments – Johny even sang a song he wrote especially for his bride during his speech!
Not to mention their wedding attire – Chantel’s dress & Johny’s suit was a dream to photograph and we were spoiled with the most lovely sunlight during their couple session; of course Avianto‘s gardens and scenery also never fails to impress.

Can you tell me about your inspiration – how did you do things differently?
