Carla & Mickey’s turquoise and red vintage travel themed wedding was awe-inspiring! There were so many thoughtful elements added to each part of their wedding day. I adored the vintage suitcases, the gleeful bunting, the chalkboard messages and all the little details that added to their travel theme. Carla & Mickey tied the knot on the 3rd of May 2014 at Makiti Wedding Venue in Muldersdrift. It truly was an Autumn wedding – Makiti’s gardens were covered in leaves and it made for some lovely photos! These two make a stunning couple and that dress with its long train looked AMAZING!

Melissa & Stefan said their vows on the 12th of April 2014 and Klip River Country Estate, in Meyerton, provided the perfect backdrop with its enchanted gardens. Marlene & Andre are one of those couples that are definitely meant to be together – they cherished every bit of the wedding planning and the wedding day and their natural chemistry with each other came through in every photo we took. They said their vows at the elegant Misty River in Eikenhof on the 8th of March 2014.
The weather was perfect (it started pouring during the ceremony but the rain cleared up just in time for the couple photos!), the decor was lovely and these two looked stunning!

Gabi & Andre said their vows on the 1st of March 2014 at the picturesque Casablanca Manor Wedding Venue in Pretoria. It was a beautiful rainy day and I just loved working with this lovely couple. Gabi looked amazing in her beautiful gown fit for a princess and along with their wedding theme being elegant with touches of pink and grey, it truly was a fairytale day 🙂

PITTAWAYS |botanical gardens family sessionFebruary 7, 2014

There’s nothing I enjoy more on a weekend than a family session – and the Pittaways were just too lovely for words! Mariana, Tulsa & little Keenan are the perfect little family and I’m still impressed with how eagerly Keenan posed for the camera!

The session ended off with a casual picnic at the botanical gardens and Tulsa entertained us with some relaxed guitar playing. It was great fun! Here’s some shots from their session:
