Wow, working with these two was such an awesome experience – they have such a fun, down-to-earth, playful way of approaching life and love. From the moment I first met them (and especially after their engagement session), I knew their wedding would be something beautiful! Nic & Bozenia said their vows on the 24th of August 2013 at Kuthaba Bush Lodge which is located in Modimolle (Nylstroom), Limpopo. I just loved how personal their wedding day was and I once again realised that a wedding day truly is the joining of two families when their parents walked out of the ceremony embraced together with big smiles!

Nic & Bozenia looked amazing (that big bow on Bozenia’s wedding dress looked stunning!), the guests had tons of fun and the weather was perfect – we were even spoiled with a golden bushveld sunset. Needless to say, we loved being a part of their wedding day!

What was your favourite part of your wedding day?

Bozenia: “It is very difficult to say for everything went so well and it was exactly what we wanted! But here’s my shortlist – the wedding ceremony on top of the cliffs was very special, our first dance together as husband and wife and lastly my father-in-law’s speech which was incredible, from tears to laughter, emotions all over!”

Meagan and Brink put so much thought into every detail of their wedding – from the wedding cake decorated by Meagan’s father, hand-weaved flower petal baskets and even homemade beer at the reception! There were bottles filled with orange, purple and yellow flowers on the steps leading toward their chosen reception venue, Al Fiume Restaurant at River Place Country Estate, and the restaurant was decorated with bright coloured prayer flags with beautiful flowers and candles used as centre pieces.

Meagan and Brink looked amazing in their wedding attire and I love the boutonnieres made with colourful ribbons that were handed out to all the guests. I’m not even going to go into detail regarding Meagan’s hair, make-up and dress, but let’s just say the make-up artists, dressmaker and hair stylist did a fantastic job! Hands down, my favourite part of this wedding was the African Marigold flowers in the bride’s hair – it just looks so lovely in all the photographs!

Brink and Meagan met through a mutual friend. In his own words: Read more…
