Sarah & Luke are childhood sweethearts and they wanted to portray the playful, loving nature of their relationship in their couple session – and what’s more fun than baking cupcakes and having a picnic at home?!

 Here’s their story:

“Our love story is built on a foundation entrenched in Christ. We grew up together, sharing many childhood memories of playing racing cars and sword fights. Our families always shared a bond however they never really thought that something this special could come from two childhood friends. For all our lives we’d see each other at least three times a week attending the same church, and sharing a special Christian bond. It is there where we learnt how to love and in turn fell in love with each other. Right from the beginning we knew that we were soul mates and it just made the whole experience so special.  We are both introverts, but we can speak to each other for hours on end. We love to spend time with our families because after all it is because of their prayers and support that we found each other.”

How did Luke propose?
Sarah: “I will never forget my birthday this year. I thought it was going to be a normal birthday but to my surprise it ended up being the most unforgettable day to date – not knowing that Luke was planning to pop the question. I guess he had it planned a little different but irrespective when he went down on his knee I couldn’t stop myself, I cried and when he asked the million dollar question….I said ‘YES!!!’ It has been an incredible journey!”

Such a beautiful couple; here are some photos from their session:
