Jannike & Armand said their vows on the 20th of October 2012 at the majestic Waterfall Cove in Muldersdrift. These two met each other through mutual friends and at first sight knew they were meant for each other!
In 2008 Armand organised a hot air balloon trip for the two of them at Bill Harrops Balloon Safari’s in Hartbeespoortdam and it was upon landing that he went down on one knee and popped the big question!
Jannike & Armand decided on colours and decor ideas that suited both of their tastes – the royal blue, black and white went so well together and the reception area really looked amazing. The centrepieces were dramatic and beautiful – the lights on the tables covered with organza and the vases with floating candles really made the decor “come alive” during the evening. I also loved the ribbons tied in the trees outside the venue!
There were so many unique elements to this wedding: instead of lighting candles during the ceremony, Armand and Jannike used different colours of sand to mix together in a vase. There was a fantastic display of indoor pyrotechnics as they entered the reception area. One of my favourite parts of their wedding was when they planted a tree together at the venue.
Jannike’s advice for future brides are to consider hiring a wedding planner as that relieves a lot of stress!
Mrs Naude says that her favourite part of her wedding day was when she said “I do” to her soulmate & best friend!
